CG Foisy works in film + sound + music. His work has shown at the Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, Guggenheim, MOMA, Houston Cinema Arts Society, DOC NYC, Symphony Space, 92Y, NYC River to River Music Festival, CMJ Music Marathon, Fondazione Prada, and even in orbit aboard the International Space Station.   His research and creative interests combine time capsules, qualia, retro-futurism, duck-rabbits, Gödel sentences and prog-rock troubadouria, and his heroes come from a mix of visual and sonic worlds -- Jill Freedman, Brian Eno, Chris Marker, Todd Rundgren, Wendy Carlos, Derek Jarman, William Klein. He enjoys experiments with archival materials and has done work with NYC’s venerable programmers of media ephemera (Cinema 16, WFMU radio, Anthology Film Archives). He works as a creative partner with 4Hawk Studios.
